Lessons from the Past

Yes, all lessons are learned from experience.. learn from me and avoid having to learn life's lessons the hard way!

*Wax paper is NOT the same as parchment paper!!!  Yes, it melts in the oven!!

* if you want to soften butter, do NOT leave it on the stove while it is on.  It will be melted butter, not softened butter.

*do NOT leave cookies within eye sight and arms reach of a 2 yr old or you will not have enough for cookie plates for people

* when making cookies with kisses in the middle, make sure you have enough kisses... I now have some naked cookies.. oh well, I guess I will just have to eat them

*when you put m&m's in your pocket (yesterday) don't forget they are there...

*when making chicken noodle soup, don't forget the chicken~ without it, you won't have the desired final results.

*when you arrive to your appt early and want to take a power nap in the car for 20 minutes before you go inside, don't park right in front of the building where people walking by can see you.. they will wonder if you are ok and send the security guard out to check on you!!

Lessons Learned

Everyday, something happens that I think:
Ok.. Lesson #1 for today:  Don't take diaper off before COMPLETELY ready for the bath or you will have a naked tooshy running around at which point you will be chasing her with a bottle of bleach and a towell to clean up the puddles.

This blog, I am going to do just for fun to remember the little daily things that happen.
